Hi Stampers!
I wanted to share with you today my customer Thank You cards I sent out to customers who shopped with me in February. I used the now retired Sale-a-Bration Darling Donkey stamp set as well as the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper (DSP), but you could use any DSP and stamp set with this fun fold card. It is the kind of fun fold that gives a wow factor without being really difficult. I used most of the colors in the Oh So Ombre color pack so there was a variety of colors. And each 6x6 sheet of DSP makes a card and a matching envelope, so, the pack of DSP would make a lot of cards! I am going to use instructions for the BlackBerry Bliss card, as I did all of that color (purple is my favorite color, and I LOVE Blackberry Bliss!)
I stamped the Darling Donkey on a scrap of Basic White and cut it out with a Stitched Nested Die. I also cut out the next largest side Nested die in Blackberry Bliss cardstock. I colored the Donkey with my Light and Dark Gray Granite Stampin' Blends and used the Ivory in his ears. Isn't he just the cutest?!? I colored the flower in his mouth with a Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blend and used the Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend for the leaves. I adhered the shapes together with Mini Glue Dots and strategically placed it to the movable triangle flap using Stampin' Dimensionals.
I stamped the Thank You sentiment from the Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp set and the "You're the Best" from the Darling Donkey stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink on the inside of that Whisper White panel making sure it would be hidden when the flap and Donkey was closed. I also added a couple of the starlight shapes around the sentiment, as well. I adhered this to the Blackberry Bliss card base that added 3 silver Metallic Pearls and the card front was done! I decided I needed to add another Whisper White panel to the back of the card since you could not really sign the card without messing up the front of the card and that gave me a place to write my message. I also added a couple of the starlight shapes in the upper left and upper right corners of this panel.
I added the donkey that was sitting to the lower left of the envelope front and colored him as I did the other one (important note: place something inside your envelope before coloring with blends to prevent bleed through). I added the last remaining piece of DSP to the envelope flap with Tombow glue and trimmed down the DSP and the excess part of the flap.
Super cute and super easy card! If you would like to replicate the card, the card cuts are listed below. I also have the list of supplies needed for this card (minus the retired stamp set and DSP). If you would like to see a video on how I made this card, please leave me a comment to let me know and I will create a video showing how it is made.
Until next time...
Happy Stamping!
