Art Gallery Happy Birthday Card

Hi Stampers!

I premiered a YouTube video this past Saturday of several cards I created as the third part of a series of classes I did using the Art Gallery Bundle and Suite.  This is one of the cards from that class.  I wanted to share the instructions, card cuts and supplies I used to make the card.  It is super quick and easy to make, but the DSP is so pretty and gives it such a wow factor!  I just LOVE the Fine Art Floral DSP and will be sad when it is retired in May.

To make the card, I started with a Poppy Parade card base and adhered Bumble Bee CS mats to the card front and inside.  Next, I adhered three DSP strips evenly spaced over the card front panel with adhesive.  On a scrap piece of Basic White CS, I stamped the largest flower background from the Art Gallery stamp set in Petal Pink ink and stamped the second layer of flower in Poppy Parade ink.  I stamped the smallest flower piece (stamen) in BlackBerry Bliss ink in the center of the flower.  I used the leaf and stem stamp with Old Olive ink below the flower.  I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment between the flower and leaves in Memento Black ink and cut this out with a Layering Circle die using my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine (SCEM).   I adhered this to the center of the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I made a bow out of the Bumble Bee ribbon and placed that at the bottom of the circle using a Mini Glue dot.  I scattered a few Basic Rhinestone jewels around the card front using my Take Your Pick Tool.

For the card inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set in Poppy Parade ink in the center of the largest Basic White CS.  I adhered the 1/2" strip of DSP to the top of the panel and then placed that in the card inside with Stampin' Seal.

For the envelope front I stamped the large flower layers as before on the card front.  I adhered the remaining DSP to the envelope flap using Tombow glue and trimmed the excess with Paper Snips.  And just like that the card is complete!  Super easy!!

If you want to watch the video, you can watch it here:  This card starts at the 32:18 minute mark.
