December 2021 Customer Thank You Very Versailles cards

Today I am taking part in my very first blog hop ever!  I am so excited to share my customer Thank You card for December.  I am using a stamp set from the annual catalog today called Very Versailles.  It is a really pretty set that I have not used in a while.  It is a simple card that works well to mass produce.  Here is how I did it:

I stamped the word stamp from the Very Versailles stamp set in Polished Pink ink all over the card front for a tone on tone look.  I cut a piece of DSP from the Pansy Petal DSP and adhered that to a panel of Evening Evergreen, then ran some of the Evening Evergreen 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon across the center of the panel and adhered to the back with adhesive.  I then adhered this to the card front with Stampin' Seal.  I took a scrap of the Polished Pink CS and Evening Evergreen CS and used the Tailored Tag punch to punch out one of each color.  I stamped the Thank You sentiment in the center of the die cut and stamped leaves from the large leaf stamp around the bottom edges in Evening Evergreen ink.  I cut the Evening Evergreen die cut in half horizontally and adhered to the back of the stamped die cut.  I adhered this to the center of the card front over the ribbon with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large leaves stamp in Evening Evergreen ink in the lower left corner of a Very Vanilla panel, going off the edge.  I adhered this to an Evening Evergreen mat and then into the card inside.  

I repeated the stamped leaf step in the lower left corner of the envelope front and adhered a piece of DSP to the envelope flap with Tombow glue and trimmed down the excess.  In no time, I had a stack of cards to send to my customers who shopped with me this month.  I thought it was a pretty card; hopefully they will like it too!

Today I am sharing a card I did a free technique Facebook Live for, and shared a technique I am calling the stamped stack technique.  I showed a couple of different ways to stamp the layers on two different cards.  The first card is using the now retired stamp set from the last Sale-a-bration called Delicate Dahlias.  I absolutely LOVE the stamp set and all the detail the flowers show.  If you want to learn how to make it, watch the video below, starting at the 2:11 minute mark.   Here is a picture of the card front:

I stamped the artwork on a solid panel of Basic White CS using Gorgeous Grape ink for the flower outline stamp, then Highland Heather ink for the inside flower detail.  I also stamped some leaf outlines in Garden Green ink, then the insides I stamped in Granny Apple Green ink.  I cut out the various layers using the Stitched Rectangle dies.  I then cut Highland Heather CS panels 1/4" larger than the rectangles.  I adhered each panel to its respective mat, then adhered the largest panel onto a Highland Heather card base using Stampin' Seal.  The remaining layers I adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals, trying to align the artwork for each layer to the layer below it.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set and trimmed it with paper snips and layered it as I did the prior layers.  I also adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I scattered some Pastel Pearls in the darker purple around the card front and the card front was done!

For the card inside, I stamped a dahlia in the Highland Heather ink, going off the lower left corner of the panel.  I adhered this to the card inside with Stampin' Seal.

 The second card I made showed the same technique in a different way.  For this card, I adhered multiple layers of Basic White CS onto each other at various angles like I wanted them on my finished card.  I then stamped floral images from the Hand-Penned stamp set from the current annual catalog in Memento Black ink so I could color them in with Stampin' Blends markers.  Again, I cut mats that were 1/4" larger than the CS panels.  For this card I used Pool Party card base mats, and Pool Party and Pale Papaya Stampin' Blends markers (Light and Dark for both for shading).  For more details, watch the attached video, srarting at 30:35 minute mark.    

For the card inside for this card, I stamped the same flower from the Hand-Penned flower set in Memento Black ink and colored with the same blends colors as the card front.
