Hi Stampers!
Happy Monday and welcome to my post for Kylie's Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.
You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post today. This is my customer Thank You cards for February. Since it's Sale-a-bration time, I wanted to use goodies I got free from the Sale-a-Bration brochure. Fabulous Flowers Designer Series Paper (DSP) is another paper in the brochure that is gorgeous and free with a $50.00 purchase! It coordinates with the Fragrant Flowers Bundle from the January - April Mini catalog, which I also used. Here is a peek at how they turned out. What do you think?
The paper really does most of the work on this card. I wanted to use both sides of the purple floral DSP paper, so I cut a diagonal by placing one corner on the 1" mark to the left of the cutting blade on my trimmer and the opposite corner on the 1" mark to the right of the cutting blade, which made the small side of each diagonal the same size. I overlapped them placing the floral one underneath the geometric design and adhered them to a Fresh Freesia cardstock mat layer. I adhered that to a Blackberry Bliss card base.
I cut a coordinating flower from the DSP with the die from the Fragrant Flower dies and adhered it to the center of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. I stamped the Thanks sentiment from the Fragrant Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a scrap of Fresh Freesia cardstock, using the Stamparatus so I could stamp it more than once to make the color darker. It also helped to do multiple sentiments at the same time by moving the plate on the Stamparatus one hinge each time, so I could do them all together, since I was making several cards. I then cut them all out with the label die from the Fragrant Flower dies. I adhered this at the top of the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I placed some Fresh Freesia Pastel Pearls on the card front with my Take Your Pick Tool, and the card front was done! Here is an up close view of just one card:
For the card inside, I used a Basic White panel and adhered some of the partial flowers from the DSP along the edge. This is a good way to use up partial flowers! I adhered it into the card inside.
If don't already have a demonstrator you purchase from, place an order from me this month and you will receive one of these cards from me in the mail! Placing an order with me, also gets you on my customer list for sending catalogs. If you need a catalog, please let me know once you have placed your order and I will get them in the mail to you.
